Veterans hospice care: we meet the unique needs of those who served our country
Veterans are our heroes in every sense of the word. The selfless dedication of these men and women has enabled us to enjoy the freedom that so many take for granted. We also understand that when it comes to palliative care and hospice care for Veterans as this population has very specific needs.
We believe no Veteran should be alone during this final stage of their journey.
America’s Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country, and we believe it is never too late to give them a hero’s welcome home.
We provide Veterans hospice care and palliative care as a part of our mission to serve those who have served the U.S.
We’ll work with you to determine your Veteran’s hospice benefits
Many can receive Veterans hospice benefits through the Veterans Administration (VA), Original Medicare or private insurance. We encourage you to speak with your Veterans Administration representative to get a clearer idea of covered services, and if you have any questions, we’re happy to help!

We are a Level 4 We Honor Veterans provider
The We Honor Veterans program is designed to help hospices meet the unique needs of Veterans. This includes providing Veteran-to-Veteran volunteer programs, partnering with the VA, giving compassionate care, and educating our staff on how to serve this population. We consider it a privilege to assist those who have protected our freedom.
We have earned the accolade of Level 4 We Honor Veterans partner. This means that we are working to provide the highest standard of care to our Veterans. At the same time, we provide special programs and education to not only Veterans but their families and the community.
This is just one way that we foster a Veterans-centric culture that expands to every facet of our organization: employees, volunteers and community partners.
We Honor Veterans programs
We regularly sponsor events throughout the community to honor our Veterans. These include:

- Veterans Breakfast and Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans events
- Veterans history projects
- Challenge coin presentations
- No Veteran Dies Alone (Veteran-to-Veteran companionship)
