Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care’s offices are closed in observance of the following holidays:
- New Years Day (January 1st)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Labor Day (First Monday in September)
- Thanksgiving (Fourth Thursday in November)
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
The holidays are observed on the days set forth above; provided, however:
- If an employee desires time off to observe a religious holiday which is not an observed holiday of the Organization, the employee may request paid or unpaid special leave of absence for that day.
- At the IPU, holidays are observed on the actual holiday.
- At the Re-Sale Shoppe, holiday closings will follow the office closing schedule but may be adjusted based on the day of the week the holiday falls on, and business needs.
- Holidays observed may be changed at the discretion of the Executive Director. Timely notice will be provided should any changes occur.
